Hope everyone has been enjoying the beautiful weather we are having! I know I was outside enjoying it today. Can you guess what I was doing?? That's right, working on that 1966 Chevy pickup I got from my dad. Last weekend, I couldn't work on it because I was sick all last weekend. But I feeling a lot better now! I have spring break all week next week, so my plans are to get my daughter caught up on her school and work on my truck.
Hope you are ready for some more pictures of the 1966 beauty. Today we pretty much did was sand most of the truck the best we could. I do have some of the spots my hubby bonded.
The passenger side that had gotten bonded.
This right above the tire.

My 12 year old son sanded this side of the truck.
Now, the tail gate. We wasn't sure how the sanding would
go on the tail gate. Due to the fact the paint was chipping and peeling off.
But between me and my husband we managed to get it sanded and smooth.

Here is some of the spots that will have, to have bondo on it.
We can't wait to start the painting. But we have at least another week of bonding and sanding to do. I have to have surgery done the first of April. I hoping to have at least the primer on before then.
I so have enjoyed working on this truck. I hope I can continue to give weekly updates on this beauty. When we done with the outside we will have to start on the inside.
Thank you for stopping by and reading today. Have a great week.
