Progress, Science Projects, And Elsa

Happy Monday morning! My daughter is on spring break this week. She been working so hard and deserves a break.

My last post was showing some flowers and bean plants we have planted. Well, so far so good. Seems we have lost a few or they may be taking their time. Ha Ha. My daughter also had some more science projects we started.

Science Project 1. Had to take wet paper towel fit into cup. Take towel back out and wet it. Then we put it back in cup and put bean seeds between paper towel and cup. Next put something on top to hold moisture in (we used a jar lid). Last put in a dark space. This was to see which way the roots will grow. In two to three days she to turn cup upside down to see what the roots will do.

This science project was to see which way a bean plant will grow inside a box with only a small hole. This project is to show which way a plant will grow in a dark place with very little light. We planted a bean seed in the plastic cup. Took a box cut out a small square. We sat the plant in the box and taped the top closed. It is sitting on my kitchen table with the hole facing the window.

It said to keep a check and keep watered.

This is a picture of our flowers we planted two weeks ago. The white flower pot is sunflowers and the other flower pot is cosmos. My daughter got so excited when she seen they was growing and she was so amazed at the rate they are growing.

Top view of our flowers.
In the cups we had planted some flowers and a bean plant, in some cups, for my daughter's science projects. As you can tell one flower and a bean plant seems to be growing. Not sure if cause we got some rain and they got to much water or if they just growing s. But we going to give them another week and see what happens. And if they don't start growing we will redo them.

Back in December we got a puppy and I shared her on this blog. Here is a picture of her now. She has gotten big on us! She has stolen my heart. Couldn't image my life without her. So, here is my Elsa.

That's it for today. Y'all have a wonderful week!
