Hello!! Happy Easter everyone! First, I want to thank our Lord Jesus for dying on the cross for us! If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have a Easter. He died on the cross for our sins. I am thankful for that.
Today I spent time with my family! I cooked a big meal. I also cooked my first homemade pound cake. Let me just say it is now a new favorite in my house.
After we ate, let my daughter hunt Easter eggs. Then we went to the park to have some relax time with the end-laws! Also a joy to visit with them and let the kids have some play time.
At the end of this blog post will have updated pictures of our flowers we planted a couple of weeks ago. Sad to say some did not make it. That's okay, its life. And a few pictures to show updates one the last science project my daughter did before she got out for Spring break a week ago.
Here is what is left of the pound cake!
Chick Easter Egg
Two of the dozen eggs my daughter dyed
Outside bean plant (planted two weeks ago.)
My daughter's Sunflowers, she planted three weeks ago. Wont be long and will plant them in ground.
My Cosmos I planted three weeks ago.
My daughter's science project. Beans, wet paper towel in a cup. This was done on March 27th. It amazes me on how far they have come in just a week!
Thank you for reading today! Hope everyone had a Happy Easter and enjoyed family today. Have a wonderful week.
